Richard Licayan Inspires Students Through School Science Fair
For the last day of class, Richard Licayan hosted a science fair for his students to share poster presentations on their own scientific research with the rest of the school. The event acted as the perfect honors biology capstone, as students were able to dive deeper into the course curriculum, apply what they learned, and then share their knowledge with their community.

Two Educational Partners International (EPI) program members at Deerwood Elementary in Kissimmee, Florida, were recognized for their impact on student learning. Kindergarten teacher Guendolyn Limpag and fifth grade teacher Sharlene Lynch both received the school’s “RISE” award. The honor recognizes teachers who model the qualities that the school celebrates and whose acronym forms the award’s name: Resilience, Integrity, Safety, and an Eagerness to learn.

Edward Chang Brings Multicultural Expertise to the American Classroom
Edward Chang from Taiwan teaches Mandarin Immersion through EPI’s program for teaching in the USA.
